The view from the room and near the elevators. The had parking space for car, that was nice, though it is not free. Big TV. Delicious breakfast. Air conditioning. Bathroom was neat. They had good and clear cleaning policy, where you could opt out of cleaning for that time and praised for saving environment, because of the chemicals that are used in washing/cleaning every day.

Of course the beauty is off the charts... so much to see... so little time. Now the crazy part is the taxi system. Lots of people needing a taxi but not enough to go around. Thus you have to request one. They suggest their app which is not user friendly. You can call but that is interesting as one will tell you one thing and the next will tell you something else. But with the help of our host and some kind people we got where we needed to go.

Florenze is an incredible city. easy to get around and to see many sites. Also, easy train station for too many day trips to count. Florence is the home of the Renaissance which highlights the greatest artists of all time. You should never do less than 3 days here but even a month is too short of time to see all it's treasures.

We loved the feel of Florence, the people were very friendly. We didn't rush around we just wandered and found some different places to the tourist destinations, I had my purse stolen on our second day from my handbag, which was very upsetting as I thought that I had it covered so just be very careful.

The highlight of our trip was a tour of the city with an unscheduled guide in little golf cart that we picked up in front of Pitti Palace after walking the very steep Boboli gardens. It gave me and my 77 year old mother a chance to relax and see Florence’s main attractions all the way to the top of the city where we couldn’t have gone on our own. The driver took our picture and for the price it was a great hour 1/2. He recommended a good restaurant where we ate the traditional steak Florentine. We visited the Ponte Vecchio, the Academia and the Ufizzi, the Duomo from the outside only too many steps for us, anyway I did it when I was 18. The cool thing I’m glad we did was the oldest perfume store in Florence near Santa Maria Novella Church and I bought a special collection perfume for my mom on Mother’s Day. That to me was really a cool place.

The city is packed with museums and cultural masterpieces.

The city is packed with museums and cultural masterpieces. ~The quality of presentation was excellent and even in the Uffizi/Duomo etc whilst queues were quite long, they moved fairly smoothly. Nearly all the placards and information was in Italian (obviously) but also in English (phew!!) I walked at least 5 miles a day which was great for my step count, I used the Firense card which involved a certain amount of admin but as we were visiting a couple of museums a day so probably saved a bit of money. The central district is quite compact so we didn't need to use public transport.

Roomy apartment, has everything you need and a great location near all the main tourist attractions and museums. I have never had a bigger room in Italy, which is a luxury, believe me. I really enjoyed that a lot. The staff was very helpful and flexible, allowing us to stay a bit after the official checkout in order to accommodate our schedule. All in all a hreat accommodation in the ideal center of Florence. No regrets, would re-book if in Florence again.

We arrived early as we were travelling around Italy from Florence. Our room wasn’t ready as there was a problem with the air conditioning. The receptionist put our bags into the luggage store so we could go and venture out. Such great customer service. Our room was also the nicest room (except the honeymoon suite on my wedding) I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. I do think we were upgraded and if so I cannot thank the hotel enough.

The staff, the breakfast, the location, the room...everything was perfect! Best cappuccino that we had during our week in Italy and the best breakfast too! 10/10 all around! Easy 10 minute walk to cross the Arno; a bus stop just across the street; grab a pizza across the street; grab a casual lunch or dinner down the street at Pitti Express for a reasonably priced meal. I hope to find myself in Florence and in Casa Botticelli again.

We stayed at this hotel twice because of the hospitality of the hotel. We loved the room and the bathroom was a lot bigger than hotels you stay at in Italy. One of our best stay in Italy. The hotel is just about 300m away from Santa Novella Maria train station and it was very convenient for us to move around from Florence to other nearby towns. It was also in a very central location which was close to Duomo. The breakfast spread was great. There is a small terrace at the top floor where we can experience the city view. Amazing!
